1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of personal data processed through this website is the operator named in the Legal Notice. You can contact us at any time using the contact form on the home page.
2. What data we collect and why
Contact form
When you send us a message, we process your name, e-mail address, the topic and the content of your message. We use this data only to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to messages (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where your message concerns a purchase, the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Messages are stored in the website database and delivered to us by e-mail. We delete them when they are no longer needed, normally within 24 months.
Purchases of books and other materials
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you buy a product, Stripe collects your payment details directly; we never see or store your full card details. We receive the information needed to complete and document the sale, such as your name, e-mail address, country, the product and the amount paid. The legal basis is the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legal obligations, for example for accounting and tax purposes (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Stripe processes data under its own privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.
Server logs and spam protection
Our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as IP address, date and time of access and browser type in order to operate and secure the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Form submissions may be checked automatically to protect the website against spam.
3. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Only technically necessary cookies may be set, for example to protect forms against misuse. Links to YouTube and other external websites are plain links; those websites apply their own privacy policies once you visit them.
4. Who receives your data
We share data only with service providers who help us run this website and process payments (hosting, e-mail delivery, Stripe), and with authorities where the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your data.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example in the country where you live.
6. Changes
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The current version is always available on this page.
